Prodigy Return Of The Mac (2007) So we have 'Return of the Mac', a new Prodigy mix CD, entirely produced by the longtime band The Alchemist. The project is, in Phil's words, 'pasting old albums by two independent people who most likely know each other well. Phil was the assistant producer on the album and James was the producer. We look at the work as a multi-platinum mix, so he was a good choice. I am very pleased with what we have done. The band produced the album well, their music is different from 'Whiplash'. The album is not like this one, but it sounds fresh. I think the group did a good job with it. It was an easy project for people who played "for themselves" stuff. Together they did great. The song they did, 'I Want to Be Like You', has a special sound to it. It's different from the rest of the stuff on the album. Each track will be recorded individually, the same track for each part of the album. Here's what happens when you take it all together. It's kind of a mixture. For me personally, it was another mix of classic Prodsive songs, this is not super-duper new material. It's just that the old stuff is re-produced with interesting and 'alive' stuff in its own way.' 3e8ec1a487
